The Salisbury Hotel, Edinburgh

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not very well-thought-out, and I was initially concerned about noise being by the front of the hotel. However, the room itself was warm, had a comfortable bed, and was spacious with everything I needed.

I had a cozy stay at this hotel in Edinburgh with very comfortable beds, and the convenience of free parking was a rare bonus. The room was small but lovely and bright with a nice view of the garden, though there were some issues with cold temperatures and draught from the window frame. The service was top-notch, with pleasant and helpful staff making my stay enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring the city center, providing a quiet and comfortable atmosphere for a good night's sleep each night. The dining experience was lovely, offering plentiful and quality options to start the day right.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room with a nice small bow window onto the garden was lovely to look out of, but unfortunately, it was dirty, including the walls, and the WiFi didn't work. However, the view of the back garden was pleasant. The service I received was excellent; the staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially guiding me to my room up the sweeping staircase. The location of the hotel was brilliant, just a 10-minute walk from the center, but the continuous humming noise from the boiler rooms was a downside. The dining experience was fantastic, though it would have been great if it had started earlier on weekdays. The facilities were good, but it's a shame the electric locking system didn't work properly.
